So it’s the New Year again and resolutions about eating better, getting into better shape and being more active abound. Year in and year out we make ourselves these promises, many to be broken leaving us feeling like we have failed. But what if there was a way to succeed? What if a workable technology existed to help you reach those goals? Well, it does and it is within your grasp. It is NOT some magic supplement or a multilevel marketing product. It IS invaluable information which will put you in the driver’s seat to reaching your goal of a healthy body.
Come to Peter Gillham’s on the 23rd of January at 6:30 p.m. for a free seminar that will help answer your questions about how to achieve the health and well being you desire. The seminar will be delivered by three experts in the fields of nutrition, diet and exercise with combined experience of over 70 years in their fields. There is so much information and so many products out there selling themselves as miracles to weight loss and health. At this seminar we will debunk the myths and you will learn the actual scientific barriers to having a healthy body and the technology to overcome them. If you are ready to take control of your health and become totally causative over your body and its well being, you don’t want to miss this! Seating is limited and filling fast, so call (727) 462-5770 to confirm today!
Besides being more sanitary than toilet tissue, bidets—those squirty accessories so popular in Europe, Japan and elsewhere that clean your underside using a jet of water—are also much less stressful on the environment than using paper.
Most of the articles I write are health-related information to help educate you, the reader, by giving you information you can use to help improve your quality of life. So many of you have called or come into the store to thank us for what we do. Today I would like to thank each and every one of you for everything YOU do. Because of all of you Peter Gillham’s has been experiencing expansion like never before. Each of you has helped to contribute by supporting a small local business run by local people, and we in turn give back as a store by contributing to and supporting local community groups, and as individuals by our many hours of volunteer work in numerous city and private groups which help to make our city a better place to live. Together we are achieving this.
Having trace amounts of molybdenum in our bloodstreams is not only normal but beneficial. The element piggybacks onto bacteria to help us metabolize proteins and grow new cells, and also helps keep our vertebrae and tooth enamel strong. But too much of it can indeed be toxic.
When my first daughter was born I did what was expected and got her immunized. Within 24 hours she began gasping for air and stopped breathing. Fortunately I was near her and able to get her breathing again with stimulation. The doctors told me that this happens occasionally and she should be fine. I never made a connection to the immunization. She had no incidents for the next three months until I took her to the doctor for her next set of shots. This time about 6 hours after the shot she gasped for air and stopped breathing again. Again, this time I was there to get her breathing again, and this time I made the connection between the two cases. I decided to find another pediatrician, who told me she was having an allergic reaction to the immunizations and to cease giving her shots. He also told me not to give any other children that came after her any shots and taught me how to protect my children to the best of my ability against childhood disease.
What is the Mother’s Act? - Written by Mental Health Advocate and Director of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights of Florida Laurie Anspach
Most Americans are becoming all too familiar with the steady stream of new mental illnesses psychiatry has “identified.” Almost every single behavior, habit, or thought process that a man, woman, or child experiences has been incorrectly deemed to be a mental illness by psychiatry. Even babies who cry are now considered by psychiatry to be mentally ill. The Mother's Act fits this pattern.
Mounting evidences show that psychiatric drugs have side effects often worse than what they are supposed to cure. Many experts have testified against the danger of psychiatric drugs. More and more people are becoming aware that the psychiatric industry is more a fraud than a real science. Organizations such as CCHR (www.cchr.org) have exposed psychiatric abuses for many years. But psychiatrist and the pharmaceutical industry continue to push pills on people. Pills that not only do not work but create more bad conditions. The apparent workability of some drugs come from the fact that it seems better to have someone sit quietly in a corner after they have been pumped full of drugs rather than seeing the same person banging his head against a wall or screaming all day long. But what state is better? One of a zombie who has no will power or is unable to act anymore or one who is still trying to get his demons out by screaming or banging his head against the wall? One is fighting, the other has given up.
Oxygen Deprivation
Most people know extreme oxygen deprivation causes death, but deprivation can come in varying degrees and causes; resulting in death to a few cells or many.
Because all cells need oxygen to work and live, low oxygen can affect every part of your body. It is vital that every one of your cells is constantly working and able to repair itself if you are to continue in good health.
First it was the birds that got the rap and now it’s the pigs. And we fall hook, line and sinker for all the dour news that devastation is going to descend and kill us all if we don’t have a needle jabbed into us!
There has been flu on this planet since time immemorial and we’re still here - in ever-increasing numbers. What happened to the so-called devastating effects of the last big flu threat - avian flu? It flew into non-existence and died the death it deserved. It’s amazing how much fear a controlled media can create.

Robert Kenner’s Food Inc., is a penetrating and scary look at the path our food is traveling to get to us. The food industry slams us with their messages of “eat our food” Now we have someone fighting back with the truth about our food with the help of nutrition activists, including Eric Schlosser (Fast Food Nation) and Michael Pollan (The Omnivore's Dilemma). High-fructose corn syrup and its friend the E.coli virus are declaring war on national health, and federal agencies, lobbied by Big Agriculture, ain't doing a thing to stop it. Reason? Profits. The movie offers solid alternatives. If the way to an audience's heart is through its stomach, Food, Inc. is a movie you're going to love.
America – a country founded on principles of individual freedom, by strong-principled men and women who fought to create a social structure in which citizens could choose their religions and their own ways of life.
Some people may consider that the American way of life is under attack by political or economic factors. This may or may not be true – but one thing is certain: America and Americans are under concerted attack by those who manufacture, smuggle, distribute and sell drugs of abuse. This is so true that there is no corner of this great country in which illicit drug use or abuse of prescription drugs cannot be found.
The story of illicit drug use in America is a devastating tale of lost life, abuse, neglect, emotional and physical damage and lost potential. Since 1996, statistics on the number of current drug users ages 12 and over have risen from an estimated 13,000,000 to 20,400,000. Drug abuse and addiction aggravate every social ill we experience, from child or domestic abuse to crime, medical costs, production and employment problems and social welfare costs. .
As a personal chef, I get asked a lot of questions about many different types of diets. One of the most important diet considerations to me as a chef is food allergies. Gluten is a protein found in wheat, Oat, Barley and Rye products, which cause allergic reactions in the digestive system.

You wouldn't want to raise race horses in Wisconsin because the soil there is high in calcium, which makes them way too relaxed. Cattle raised in Wisconsin are big, easy-going and relaxed. In contrast, breeders in Kentucky don't raise contented cattle but race horses - nervous, jumpy, raring-to-go race horses. That's because the soil is high in phosphorus and low in calcium, which results in wound-up, chomping-at-the-bit, high energy horses. They can't relax and that's what you want in a race horse.
Reducing the Side Effects of Life
Dear Readers,
My name is April Cook and I am a Licensed Medical Esthetician and the Owner of “Ageless Solutions Skin Care” located in Dunedin. Don’t stop reading—I know—just like attorneys and hair dressers, estheticians are a dime a dozen. What sets me apart from all the others is my passion for educating the public that skin care is not only beneficial for their health and well-being, but vital.
I was fortunate to have been raised around a nutritionist all my life, my mother. Living my life as organically as possible and knowing how important internal health is, I naturally saw the need to focus on the largest organ in the body, our skin.

ARE YOUR COSMETICS & PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS SAFE?
Choosing safe products can be a daunting task without the proper knowledge and tools. Many product packages are deceptively designed to make you believe that the product inside the package is herbal, all natural, safe and gentle, when in fact the product contains little or no natural or herbal ingredients, is contaminated with carcinogens and is irritating to the skin. This is the case because of the lack of regulation in the cosmetic and personal care product industry. But armed with a little knowledge and some helpful tools, there is much you can do to protect yourself.
Here are 10 things you can do to make safer and healthier choices when selecting your toiletries. Read the ingredients on the label. The packaging may say such things as natural, herbal or hypoallergenic. This has nothing to do with what’s really in the product or how safe it is. Manufacturers make a lot of claims on the package to “sell” the product. They can do this because some of the terms don’t have official definitions and they can use them however they want. To really fi nd out what’s in a product, you must read the ingredients in the small print, you know, the ones that you sometimes need a magnifying glass to be able to see.
