High School Football Team Clearwater Academy Knights to Play in State Championship

The Clearwater Academy Knights - Photo by Scott ChincharThe Clearwater Academy Knights 6 man tackle football team is going to the State Championship this Saturday, November 14th 2009 at 7:30 p.m. In only their second season the Knights have risen to the top of the league and are going into the championship undefeated with a record of 12 straight wins. 

Clearwater Academy is a secular private school located at 801 Drew St. In Clearwater with a student body of 265 students from preschool through high school. They are members of the Florida Christian Sports and Activities; which was organized to offer a football program to small, private high schools. The league consists of 18 private school throughout Florida.
 
The Knights are taking on the Haven Christian Lions in the State Championship game. They are looking to win the State Championship for 6 man tackle and having the perfect season.  The game will be played at Canal Park - 3120 Tampa Rd., Oldsmar, FL  34677
