The Knights dominated the game stacking up 53 points to the Lions 20. Jesse Chinchar, All-State team quarterback already has a combined total 871 yards passing and rushing on the season. He commanded his team with precision passing and creative plays.
David Feldman, receiver for the Knights, scored 3 touchdowns and Jonathan Schneider ran for a 75 yard touchdown. “There is nothing quite like the excitement of High School Football and the ability of this sport to bring out an incredible crowd. Everyone loves watching the game!”, said Jim Zwers, Clearwater Academy’s Executive Director.
Playing in the Florida Christian Association of Private and Parochial Schools (FCAPPS), the Knights represent the only Applied Scholastics school. Setting a great example, the team displays incredible sportsmanship and competence on the field. In this regard, and in only their second season in this league, the Knights have established themselves as the leaders of the pack and team to beat.
The team’s home field is located at 940 7th Street South in Safety Harbor. These Friday night games, starting at 7:30pm under the lights, bring out hundreds of the most spirited sports fans in the Clearwater area.
