Many of the dolphins will be on display at the businesses that sponsored them, while others will take them home and
some will be donated to charities. “Clearwater Marine Aquarium has said they would be happy for any donated to them”, according to Clearwater’s Dolphins Project Manager, Anita Treiser. “Once everyone decides, we are going to create a map/trail of dolphins so those available for the public to see can visit them. Lots of talk about dolphin reunions and gathering some of them for various upcoming events. No commitments on that at this time.”
In fact, “People have been so taken with the dolphins that we now have orders for another 15”, added Treiser. We will be placing an order on August 27 and the new dolphins, up to 40, will be delivered late September. The cost for these dolphins will be $1000 and the buyers will coordinate on their own the decorating of the dolphins”.
The popularity of this dolphin exhibit is already demanding a quick encore. We will keep you updated.
