Participating neighborhoods may enter their associations in one or more categories. They document the processes and outcomes of their projects in a variety of media which are judged against entries of competing neighborhoods. Cash grants to fund further projects are awarded as prizes.Last year, $25,000 in grant dollars were awarded to 13 participating neighborhood groups with prizes ranging from $500 to $5,000.
Neighborhoods must attend at least one orientation session to be eligible for participation. All sessions will be held in room 130 at the Clearwater
Municipal Services Building, 100 S. Myrtle Ave. Those who attend sessions held after regular business hours may use the buildings East Avenue
entrance. The following sessions are available:
Wed., Dec. 3, 6:30 to 7:30p.m.;
Tues., Dec. 9, 1 to 2 p.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.;
Sat., Jan. 17, 2009, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.;
Wed., Jan. 21, 1 to 2 p.m.;
Sat., Jan. 31, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
