The Black Eyed Peas The E.N.D. World Tour will stop at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa on Wednesday, February 10th at 7:30 p.m. The tour has been described as “the ultimate Black Eyed Peas experience,” and will “replicate the party vibe of a hot dance club.”
John Mayer will stop by the St. Pete Times Forum on Friday, February 5th for the second concert of Mayer’s North American tour. Mayer’s Tour. which kicks off on February 4th in Sunrise, FL, will feature special guest Michael Franti & Spearhead.

Yamato, the Drummers of Japan infused Clearwater with a taste of Japanese culture at Ruth Eckerd Hall on November 22nd.
Energetic performers pounded drums of varying sizes with an enthusiastic vigor, each stroke sending a booming thunder resonating through the theatre and reverberating through the body. With muscular arms and strong physiques, they threw every sinew into each separate drum beat.
Teen music sensation and star of Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus, will perform at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa on Tuesday, December 1st at 7:00 p.m. Cyrus will be performing music from her four #1 albums. Miley Cyrus will be joined by pop band Metro Station, which is led by Cyrus’s older brother Trace. Tickets are still available for her 2009 North American Tour presented by Wal-Mart. Clearwater Jazz Holiday Celebrates 30th Anniversary Featured

The Clearwater Jazz Holiday, one of the most prominent jazz festivals in the Southeast, celebrated its 30th anniversary with this year’s four days of free jazz in Coachman Park, October 15th through October 18th. The Clearwater Jazz Holiday brought an estimated 47,000 people to Coachman Park over the four days, and the park reached maximum capacity for the Saturday night show.

His reign as King of the Blues has been as long as that of any monarch on earth. Yet B. B. King continues to wear his crown well. At age 84, he is still light on his feet, singing and playing the blues with relentless passion. Time has no apparent effect on B.B., other than to make him more popular, more cherished, more relevant than ever. Don’t look for him in some kind of semi-retirement, look for him out on the road, playing for people, popping up in a myriad of TV commercials, or laying down tracks for his next album. B.B. King is as alive as the music he plays, and a grateful world can’t get enough of him.

On Saturday, September 19th, the auditorium of Clearwater’s Ft. Harrison Hotel was transformed into a ritzy 1940’s jazz club, for the Harlem Nights Jazz Benefit Concert. Guests decked out in 1940’s costume were treated to delicious hors d’oeuvres, and a jazz concert emceed by George Rix, the voice of smooth jazz on WSJT.
80% of the world is living without their own music, or the ability to learn music from others. Too many people have lost their voices or had their Music suppressed. They believe they couldn’t “carry a tune in a bucket”. It takes some courage and determination to overcome these preconceived notions, and most good things in life do! So why would you want to make that effort?
Achieva Credit Union Fall Lunchtime Concert Series in Station Square Park Clearwater Starts Oct 1

On Thursdays, beginning this week and continuing through November 19, Achieva Credit Union and the Downtown Development Board will host lunchtime concerts in Station Square Park.
This week’s concert in the park from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Cleveland Street, features the acoustic contemporary sounds of Sal Beloise. In the coming weeks, other musical genres will be featured including Latin, jazz, pop, rock, country and blues.
