John Mayer will stop by the St. Pete Times Forum on Friday, February 5th for the second concert of Mayer’s North American tour. Mayer’s Tour. which kicks off on February 4th in Sunrise, FL, will feature special guest Michael Franti & Spearhead.
In November of 2009, Mayer released his latest album, Battle Studies. Battle Studies is his 4th studio album, and is currently in the Top 20 albums as reported by Billboard. Battle Studies was co-produced by Mayer and Steve Jordan and recorded in a private home in California where Mayer lived and worked over the course of six months before wrapping at the Capitol Studios in Los Angeles. Batlle Studies is reminicent of 1970's and 80's California rock and pop.
Mayer has had many hits, including "Your Body is a Wonderland," "Say," and "Waiting for the World to Change." Mayer has performed and/or recorded with Eric Clapton, BB King, Jay Z, Alicia Keys and Taylor Swift, among others.
