Clearwater FL, (January 20) - The Citizens Commission on Human Rights of Florida is hosting the “Fight for Kids” Award ceremony on Feb. 21, 2009. The event will recognize parents, throughout Florida, who have gotten very active in educating others about the truth behind behavioral and learning “disorders”. These parents have first-hand experience with their children having been diagnosed and labeled by psychiatry and what effect that had on their lives.
“Depression” is an overâused term to describe many symptoms, some of which are normal life stresses. When hearing the word, we simply put it into a category, in our minds of, “Well! Who hasn’t been depressed?” and, “Oh, they have pills for that kind of thing.”
In fact, the use of this term has been promoted by the psychiatric industry since 1952, at which time the first edition of psychiatry’s “Billing Bible”, The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, was published. This diagnosis has resulted in millions of people on psychiatric medication and billions of dollars lining the pockets of the pharmaceutical industry and psychiatry.
