This year’s Jazz ’N Art walk was double the size of last year’s, spanning two full blocks of Cleveland Street (between Ft. Harrison and East Avenue), and drawing artists from as far away as Minnesota.
“The Clearwater Jazz ’N Art Walk was developed as an added attraction and to expand the reach of the Clearwater Jazz Holiday,” said Joanie Sigal, the director of the Jazz ’N Art Walk. “The event also showcases the redesigned downtown Clearwater landscape.”
In addition to the artwork, the Jazz ’N Art Walk provided live concerts on Cleveland Street throughout the day, and a kids’ section in Station Square Park.
“There is a natural extension to jazz music and art,” says Sigal. “Combining the two as well as showcasing education endeavors of tomorrow’s future is something that is part of the mission of the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Foundation. The event is on its way to becoming a stop on the art show circuit and an event that you need to visit.”
