Divino Fine Italian Restaurant Opens in ClearwaterClearwater FL, July 28, 2009 - No matter the economy, two entrepreneurs aren’t letting that be an obstacle.  6 months and $500K later, Piero Caramella and Dmitry Lisovitsky, have announced that their fine Italian dining restaurant, Divino, is opening its doors – TODAY in the evening starting at 5pm – in downtown Clearwater, FL.

At Divino, restaurant goers will find specific dishes originating in certain areas of Italy. Before advanced transportation, each area in Italy was limited in the types of food that would grow best in their terrain and climate. Divino has incorporated this history into their menu.

The décor and ambiance is that of an old world piazza.  Every town in Italy has a piazza, a central point of the town, accessible not by just one or two roads, but many. In the archways of Divino are real-life photographs of famous Italian piazzas so the clientele can look through the archways out into the “streets” that lead into the town square.

Divino has three menus that they will gently unveil while the restaurant polishes everything from their silverware to their service:

• A piazza menu with salads, fresh-baked Italian pizzas, Paninis and common pasta dishes;
• A fine dining menu with fresh seafood, center-cut steaks and homemade signature pasta dishes;
and
• A degustation (tasting) menu with a smaller selection of a variety of dishes to tantalize the Italian palate.

In addition to the menus, Divino has singing wait staff - tenors, opera, show tunes and more.  Piero and Dmitry’s vision is to bring the spirit of the Italian culture to the citizens of Tampa Bay, whereby a passion for camaraderie, good debate, food and family are the fabric of the culture.

“Everyone should experience the piazza way of life at least once, says Piero. “Nothing is too serious that can’t be mended by espresso, wine and pasta.”
Divino’s Italian food will be a veritable encyclopedia of tastes and options, all with their particular stamp and story for you to enjoy.  And don’t forget to ask for the homemade pastries and Italian gelato.  The restaurant’s phone number is 727-446-3075.
