Tim Conway will Perform at Ruth Eckerd Hall on February 6Five-time Emmy® winner comedian and actor Tim Conway will bring his friends Chuck McCann and Louise DuArt for one incredible night of classic stories and sketches to Ruth Eckerd Hall on Saturday, February 6 at 7:30 pm.  The production will include video screens for easy viewing.

Although Conway’s career includes the hit television series McHale’s Navy and movies including the popular The Apple Dumpling Gang, Conway is best known for his work on The Carol Burnett Show where his unscripted antics often caused his fellow players to fall out of character by bursting out in laughter.  Just two of his memorable characters on the Burnett show were “The Old Man” whose shaggy white hair, slow speech and shuffling gait ran counter to the much needed energy levels of the various occupations he was usually found in. His comic inability to get said jobs done — usually with slapstick results to himself, and with many an ad-lib — would both frustrate and 'break up' his fellow sketch performers and "Mr. Tudball," a Swedish-American businessman whose intentions of running a 'ship-shape' office were usually sunk by the bored indifference of his secretary, "Mrs. Whiggins" (Burnett). Conway's stereotypical Swedish accent (especially when frustrated) added to the humor.  He would also use this accent for other characters, such as the classic sketch with Harvey Korman as an inept dentist.

Joining Conway will be Chuck McCann, a third generation performer who has conquered every medium of the entertainment industry from film, television, recordings and stage.  McCann is known as a man of close to 1,000 voices in the world of animation and commercials (or so it seems). And he is still active in these mediums today with roles in The Aristocrats, The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd, Boston Legal and Adventures in Odyssey.

Also joining Conway will be Louise DuArt, often called the world's greatest impressionist who continues to astound critics and celebrities alike with her dead-on impressions of America's most famous people. Her talent for replicating celebrities in fun-loving style has made Louise DuArt one of the most revered impressionists today. Her more than one hundred marquee characters range from Barbara Walters to Judge Judy, Joan Rivers to Jane Fonda and Barbra Streisand to George Burns.
