Carmen Pavlovic, CEO of the Creature Production Company, said, “The BBC Series was a brilliant blend of special effects, escapism, excitement and information. Our show brings together all of that, plus something extra - it’s live! In this production, 17 roaring, snarling “live” dinosaurs mesmerize the audience – and are as awe-inspiring as when they first walked on earth.”

Once again, one of the longest running and well known free live Jazz events in the country was a huge success.
The popularity of jazz in Clearwater began in the 70’s with a 10 day series of jazz concerts held from the back of a flatbed truck at various venues around the City of Clearwater including concerts series performed at the historical Ft, Harrison Hotel. From there the jazz craze developed into our present day “Clearwater Jazz Holiday” drawing tens of thousands of jazz fans each year.
Over the years, the Clearwater Jazz Holiday has presented in concert almost every jazz star and has become internationally renowned for hosting such legends as Woody Herman, Buddy Rich, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Mann, Dave Brubeck, Tito Puente, Stephan Grappelli, Stan Getz, and the Count Basie Orchestra to list a few.
7th Annual "Fashions with Flair"
Clearwater
The charity fundraiser, held at the Belleair Country Club, packed the house with nearly 350 attendees from the greater Clearwater region.
Since 1994, Clearwater Community Volunteers have raised money, food and toys for family and children’s charities such as the Boys & Girls Club, Everybody’s Tabernacle’s Homeless Emergency Project, C.L. Kennedy Community Center in Tampa, the Red Cross, Victims of Katrina and Winter Wonderland.
CCV holds various fundraising activities throughout the year. However, Fashions with Flair” is the largest attended and, in my opinion, “the most elegant”. Each year the event includes a silent auction, great food, entertainment and the fashion show of beautiful community leaders participating as models.
