DEBARTOLO SPORTS UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES MATT BARKLEY AS RECIPIENT OF THE INAUGURAL “JOE MONTANA QUARTERBACK OF THE YEAR AWARD”
TAMPA (December 26, 2007) – DeBartolo Sports University announced today that Matt Barkley of Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, CA, has been named winner of the 2007 “Joe Montana Quarterback of the Year Award.” The inaugural honor, given to the nation’s best high school quarterback, will be presented to Barkley by Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana and Steve Clarkson, quarterback expert and President of DeBartolo Sports University, on January 1, 2008, at the Outback Bowl in Tampa, FL (Tennessee vs. Wisconsin).

AFL All Time Kickoff Return Touchdown Leader Signs with Tampa Bay TAMPA - The five-time world champion Tampa Bay Storm has signed wide receiver/defensive back and kick return specialist Sedrick Robinson, Head Coach and General Manger Tim Marcum announced today.
"Our special teams just got a lot better," said Marcum. "We were looking for a good return guy and I think that we just signed one the best in the League. He is a dynamic, fast and exciting returner. He will play a big role on our special teams and add depth to our wide receiving corps."
Robinson, 5-foot-10, 185 pounds, is a seven-year veteran in the Arena Football League and the AFL's all-time leader in kickoff returns for a touchdown with 28.
