EARTH DAY FOCUSES ATTENTION ON WAYS TO HELP
CONSUMERS AND ORGANIZATIONS “GO GREEN”

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — This April 22nd, millions of people around the country and around the world will celebrate Earth Day. More than ever, the focus will be on ways that consumers and organizations can take practical steps to reduce their carbon footprint and conserve resources. One company, LetsGoGreen.biz, is offering a wide range of household products that will help do just that.

LetsGoGreen.biz is the concept of a Georgia man who found inspiration while watching a Diane Sawyer television special about global warming last year on Earth Day. Kyle Jodice had spent 20 years in sales and distribution, but before that TV program was over he had decided to start a new and very different kind of business, and LetsGoGreen.biz was born.

“I thought about what the average person can do to help,”  he says. “Most people aren’t going to put a windmill in their backyard, but they will change the kind of light bulbs or toilet paper they use. They just don’t know where to go to get these things.”

Mr. Jodice went to work building a web site that offers a wide range of environmentally-friendly products for the home, ranging from energy-saving light bulbs to recycled paper goods, eco-friendly cleaning supplies and plastic products, and a full line of water conservation items.

In addition, LetsGoGreen.biz also offers those products in a “green” fundraising program available to schools, leagues, churches and other groups who rely on fundraising programs as a way to raise money.

LetsGoGreen.biz has been a hit with the press. Mr. Jodice has been interviewed on “Good Day Atlanta,” WSB-TV, WAGA-TV, “Daybreak Macon,” “Good Morning Savannah,” CBS-TV, Fox 6 News in Birmingham, News 14 in Charlotte, and numerous other print, broadcast and internet media, showing viewers simple yet inexpensive changes they can make that will have a big impact.

Now, in celebration of Earth Day, LetsGoGreen.biz is offering all visitors to the site a 25% discount formerly reserved for family and friends. Customers just need to type in the word “FRIEND” in the coupon code box at checkout to receive the discount. “We want to encourage everyone to go green and become a friend to the earth,” says Mr. Jodice, “This gives people a chance to try some of these products and see for themselves how easy it is to make a difference.”
