The commencement ceremony is on Friday, December 19, 2008 at 2:00 pm, 1730 Maritime Blvd, Tampa, FL. 33605. Special guest speaker, County Commissioner Kevin Beckner will address the graduating youth on taking this beginning to the next level and striving for their best. The kids will share their experiences and personal growth with their own commencement speech. “The kids’ graduation is based on a rank system and they have accomplished the highest grade, chief. They’ve reached this goal and will take with them the many tools they need to succeed once they leave our program. We are so proud of our youth and their development and accomplishments. This is something they’ll remember as they continue to achieve on their journey of success,” says Mark Criser, Tampa Marine Institute Chair of Board of Trustees.
