Brian Andrus owner of Stonebridge Real Estate receives Pinnacle Award March 24 2009

On March 24, 2009 the Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors (FGCAR) held a very successful event in Tampa which recognized the Top Producers and Deals of the Year for commercial real estate in six major categories: Industrial, Investment, Land, Office, Retail and General Brokerage. Realtors from the central western part of Florida had submitted their volume of production as well as evidence of their uniqueness of deals that exemplified hard work and dedication to client service. These were then judged by their peers.

The 2008 awards were presented at a well-attended dinner for top commercial realtors in the area at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Tampa, FL, and was MCed by a well known sports announcer and a current Senior Advisor with the Tampa Bay Rays, Dick Crippen. Awards for 3rd, 2nd and 1st place in the various categories were recognized, as well as an outstanding deal in each that was named the "Deal of the Year". No one in the crowd knew of any results prior to them being announced at the event. The awards were presented by various sponsors and industry participants as well as the 2009 president of FGCAR, Scott Clendening.

Brian Andrus, CCIM, Broker-Owner of Stonebridge Real Estate Co., Inc., 1465 S Fort Harrison Ave., Ste 103, Clearwater, FL, landed the trophy for the #1 spot in the General Brokerage, Top Producer in the FGCAR Regional Division. For a second time he was called onstage to receive the award for the Office Deal of the Year. Excerpts were read from a very appreciative and heartfelt letter from one of his clients, Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, Inc., who he successfully represented in this award winning transaction.

Fellow members enthusiastically applauded and congratulated Brian for the double win and excellent production and service. The membership of FGCAR is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of conduct and ethics in business dealings, and the protection of private property rights.

In 2008 Brian Andrus also earned the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member, one of 9,500 in the U.S. and overseas. CCIMs are experts in all phases of commercial investment real estate. In addition, Brian is among the highest producers in residential sales in Pinellas County each year. He also "walks the walk" by being an active real estate investor himself. Before moving with his family to Clearwater, FL in 2002, Brian was a successful broker associate in La Canada, California for many years.

The FGCAR Pinnacle Awardees were highlighted in the March 27, 2009 edition of the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
