Station Square — Sales projections ahead of schedule

Clearwater FL, April 2007 Cleveland Streetscape is nearing its second block of completion, and with it, new businesses and future residents are giving downtown Clearwater a new look. “We have pre-sold over 70% of our units”, reports Connie Super of Station Square Realty, “we are ahead of our projected sales.” This is a 13-story building with 126 residential condominium units, and 10,000 square feet of ground fl oor retail including a major restaurant space that sits just west of the Post Offi ce. In addition, the project will provide more than 100 public parking spaces within a structured garage.

The project architect will be working with the city’s streetscape consultant to ensure that ground floor space is compatible with the overall Cleveland Street streetscape and Station Square Park redesign. “I’m in the fortunate position of seeing this project being built every day,” says Jeff Lininger, mortgage account executive for the Bank of America, “interest rates are good —people are starting to buy again.” New businesses are already lining up “Although most people don’t see it, there is a lot of activity occurring behind the scenes,” said Connie Super, “with all that is happening right now, many new businesses are not waiting for the completion of Streetscape, along with other projects like the boat slips and luxury dining cruise ships, the Super Bowl is coming to the Tampa Bay area in 2009 that will bring tens of thousands of people to the greater Tampa Bay area, and we want to make sure downtown Clearwater will be ready.”

Renovations have already begun at the restaurant across from the Post Offi ce, even though Streetscape is not projected to be done on that block for another 6 months. A new bakery and a wine & cheese place have been rumored to be getting ready to open their doors just up the street from Streetscape. Station Square condos seems to be at the heart of all by default of its location. The city of Clearwater’s plans for Station Square Park might very well be the highlight of the long...see Station awaited downtown renovation. Station Square condos are projected to be completed in the fall of 2008. For more information visit www.StationSquareClearwater.com or you can reach Ms. Super by phone at 727-447-0700.
