Miley Cyrus Comes to Tampa on Dec 1st

Teen music sensation and star of Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus, will perform at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa on Tuesday, December 1st at 7:00 p.m. Cyrus will be performing music from her four #1 albums. Miley Cyrus will be joined by pop band Metro Station, which is led by Cyrus’s older brother Trace. Tickets are still available for her 2009 North American Tour presented by Wal-Mart.

Because of the frenzy created by Miley Cyrus, and to deter ticket scalping, all tickets are sold exclusively through a paperless ticket delivery system. What this means is, fans will not be receiving physical concert tickets, but instead are required to bring the credit card used to purchase tickets, plus a government-issued ID to the concert. The ticket usher will swipe the credit card upon entry, and present each person in the party with a seat locator slip. All members of the ticket purchaser’s party must be present at the same time in order to receive their seat locator slips. For parents who do not have a ticket to see Miley Cyrus, there will be the opportunity to stay at the St. Pete Times Forum for free in the Shots at Channelside room. Shots at Channelside will be open at 3:00 p.m., and will close just after the concert. It is located off the Chrysler/Jeep Plaza on the west corner of the St. Pete Times Forum. There will also be a no-charge temporary pick-up and drop-off parking section on the North Lot of the St. Pete Times Forum for the Miley Cyrus concert, located on the corner of Channelside Dr. and Caesar St. This is only available for short term parking. Long term parking passes can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com in advance, or at the McDonald’s Box Office.
