Founded in Nara, “birthplace of Japanese culture” and “home of the Japanese spirit,” these drummers use a less traditional approach to their art, offering their own original expression and exchange of energy through drumming. This production honors matsuri, the source of Japanese mythology and performing arts and the gathering that traditionally occurred whenever drums were played. Ruth Eckerd Hall is located at 1111 McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater. More information can be found at www.rutheckerdhall.com For more events from Ruth Eckerd Hall, go here.
