"Valentino: The Last Emperor" to be Shown at Tampa Theatre June 12th-17th

June 11, 2009 - TAMPA, FL - "Valentino: The Last Emperor " will be shown at the Tampa Theatre June 12th through the 17th.

Valentino: The Last Emperor, directed by Matt Trynauer, is a feature-length movie that takes the viewer inside the singular world of one of Italy's most famous designers, Valentino Garavani. The film documents the colorful and dramatic closing act of Valentino's celebrated career, capturing the end of an era in global fashion.

On opening night, June 12th, there will be a Director's Reception from 6pm until 7pm, hosted by The Tampa Theatre, The Art Institute of Tampa Fashion & Retail Management program and Tampa Bay Fashion Week. Special guest, director Matt Trynauer, will share behind-the-scenes stories and take questions after the premiere. There will be informal modeling featuring local designers Essence Flowers and Ben Chmura, as well as complimentary hors d'oeuvres and beverages.
