The gala will include an open mic poetry reading, refreshments, prize drawings and social mingling. Readings during the day will be hosted by poets Larry Jaffe, Stazja McFadyen, editor and publisher of PoEmPath and Alan Graham, host of the monthly Poetry by Candlelight. Last year, Mayor Frank Hibbard issued a proclamation naming April 19th, 2008 "Clearwater Poetry Day." With this year's event, the Annual Poetry Walk becomes a Clearwater tradition.
