The Humane Society of PinellasBark at the Ballpark is back! Following the success of the Humane Society of Pinellas’s annual Bark at the Ballpark events, the society is announcing their first ever Bark at the Ball Park III.

The event will take place on Friday, August 21st at Bright House Field (601 Coachman Road, Clearwater) starting at 6:00pm when the gates open. At 7:00pm, there will be a game between the Clearwater Threshers and the Dunedin Blue Jays.

There will be activities and vendors, including the sponsors of Bark at the Ballpark III, Gulfcoast Dog Magazine and Quick Print Plus. Among the activities are an “EST” Pet Contest --- Owners pick the category they think their dog belongs in, as long as it ends in “est”. (CutEST, FastEST, FurriEST, etc.) – a “Ruffable Raffle” for gift baskets, free samples for pups, doggie massages, and The Gourmet Doberman Frozen Yogurt for Dogs. There will also be event T-Shirts for sale, and adorable adoptable pets.

Of course, Bright House Fields will have Frenchy’s Tiki Bar and Home Run Concessions open during the event.

At the end of the event, attendees have the chance to run the bases with their dogs!

The Humane Society of Pinellas is a non-profit animal shelter “dedicated to serving the community through compassionate care of all animals,” which “treats the treatable and trains the trainable” and provides services to “sick, injured, abused and abandoned pets and wildlife.”

Tickets for Bark at the Ballpark are only $4 for humans and free for dogs. More information is available at 727-467-4457 or at http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/.
