Dawn Shannon of Intuition Spa Sells Her Bags at 4th Friday

CLEARWATER, FL - On Friday, June 26th, the Clearwater Downtown Partnership will hold the fourth 4th Friday event right in the middle of Cleveland Street in between East Avenue and Ft. Harrison. There will be vendors, a rock climbing wall, live music from The Invasion Band, magicians, fire breathers and more! Past events have included a bouncy house, mimes, a Ray's game viewing and a Todd Rundgren concert put on by Ruth Eckerd Hall.

4th Friday is put on by the Clearwater Downtown Partnership to stimulate the economic growth of the Cleveland Street District and strengthen the sense of community. Many local businesses have booths during the event and most of the restaurants located on Cleveland Street open their doors, the delicious smell of fresh food wafting into the street. The 4th Fridays are truly a good time for anyone of any age, and their monthly occurrence adds to the charm and comfortable, friendly feel of Clearwater. Each 4th Friday event benefits a charity, and this month's proceeds from beer and wine sales will go to the Miles for Hope foundation (www.milesforhope.org), which was founded by Bob and Barb Gibbs which raises funds to assist patients with brain tumors. Past recipients of the fundraiser aspect of 4th Friday have been the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and the Clearwater Downtown Partnership.
