4th Friday Event Downtown Clearwater April 2009

You’re invited to a free party on Cleveland Street in Downtown Clearwater!  It will be held on April 24th from 5:30-9:00pm, so bring your friends and family to enjoy great music, beer, wine, soft drinks and all kinds of food and local goods from vendors and local businesses.

This month’s band is Kenny McGee. Kenny is the lead vocalist from Julliet, a national rock act.  Julliet went on to get signed to Capitol Records and toured in the 80's and early 90's and worked with such producers as Frankie Sullivan (Survivor) and Kevin Dubrow (Quiet Riot). 

Kenny eventually branched off and formed a solo band which has brought Kenny back to his southern rock roots.  In the early 90s, with "Baby Jane" he had the #1 most requested song for 6 months on 98 Rock .  At the same time, Julliet’s “Revvin' Me Up” was being played on rock stations nationwide.

To this day, Kenny remains one of the most sought out singer/songwriters with which to work .  His solo band, as well as Juliet, are gearing up for a busy season; they will be doing a summer tour in support of their appearance at Rocklahoma in Pryor, Oklahoma (4-day 80's rock festival).
