4th Friday in Clearwater Will Return After the Summer on September 25th

Fourth Friday, the party on the street in Downtown Clearwater, is on summer break! After a short hiatus, due to the frequency of afternoon rainstorms during the summer months in Florida, Fourth Friday will return on September 25th with a Clearwater Jazz Holiday kick off.

October’s Fourth Friday falls on October 23rd and will feature the theme of “Disco Fright Night”.

November’s Fourth Friday is on the 27th of November, and will have the theme, "Shake Your Money Maker on Cleveland Street".

In December, there will be the return of the successful “Miracle on Cleveland Street” in which it will snow in Florida! 20 tons of snow will be shipped in, for a “miracle.” This year’s “Miracle on Cleveland Street” will be better than the last, and include two snow slides.
 
 4th Friday is put on by the Clearwater Downtown Partnership to stimulate the economic growth of the Cleveland Street District and strengthen the sense of community. Many local businesses have booths during the event and most of the restaurants located on Cleveland Street open their doors, the delicious smell of fresh food wafting into the street. The 4th Fridays are truly a good time for anyone of any age, and their monthly occurrence adds to the charm and comfortable, friendly feel of Clearwater.

The proceeds of each month’s beer and wine sales benefit a charity. Past recipients of this fundraiser aspect of 4th Friday have been the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and the Clearwater Downtown Partnership.
